I can see why you won the contest. Congratulations! One long piece of alliteration in 3/5/3. Very clever. The picture almost 'swept' me away. I sat looking at it longer than I usually do with any other entry. It's mesmerizing - Regards Dorothy

Obviously a man with skills. I love the complementary animation. It goes so well with your air 3-5-3. By the way , the poem is awesome, also!

I really don't know how to comment and review this piece.
Is it the picture you used, which goes along with the title?
Or is it the style you conceived, and ended up so beautiful?
I see this as an alliterated poem
Beautifully done!
Congratulations!

Thanks very much, Victor. I have to give all of the credit for that amazing photo to my friend, NatureGirl. She was kind enough to allow me to use it. The words were mine, though (LOL).

    Thanks again!

Congratulations on this well-deserved win! It's hard to imagine after all the horrendous weather there could be more, but you vividly portrayed something worse. Your one hundred percent alliteration of "w's" adds to the intensity. Well done! -Joan

Wow,wow, wow, I love the alliteration....from title to all the way through the verse....I hear the wind in the w sounds...from windswept wrath....to weaving woe....and whoa what a picture
Well done
God bless

Hey, thanks, kiwijenny, I'm so glad that you picked up on that. That "whistling" sound that a twister makes is exactly my reasoning for writing it the way I did, with all of the "W" words.

Thanks for your kind comments. I really appreciate it!

This fulfills the 3-5-3 writing prompt. Excellent alliteration throughout the piece with w sounds. Perfect picture to compliment it. Best of luck in the contest.
Namaste, Debbie

I like the realistic look of this poem. It is a well written alliterative piece. The 3/5/3 format is done to perfection and the descriptive metaphors are original. Great job!
