It took me until I was past the middle of the alphabet when I realized what was going on.
How fun this was.
Lot's of gentle and humble and useful wisdom. (Once we are over 60 we can use that term, wisdom).

Congratulations! You did it and you did it well! I've written a poem with lines starting A-Z. It was fun and challenging and I enjoyed it. Thoroughly enjoyed your poem. You stayed true to your title without forsaking the rhythm and flow. Well done!!

You have done a great job fulfilling the requirements of an abecdarian poem. I like the fact that it is a look at your past with lots of words of wisdom to pass along. Good one and good luck in the contest!

This poem has every right to receive the recognized and all time best seal. It is hard to construct this abecdarian poem yet she still managed to impart her message. Although, I refuse to agree with the teaser ... as it is near ending... Only God has the right to give expiration to our life. God always bless you with good health to continue inspiring people with your poem. c",

Thanks for reading. The poem does not say that I am 83. It says my body is 83. . .I am 65 but my heart is quickly giving out so I am tired most of the time and going slowwwwww. The contest is over and I got ONE vote! livelylinda

Joyce: I had my first heart attack at age 48, totally unexpected, followed by my first open heart surgery. Last July I had my 6th heart attack over a 17 year period of time. I've had two open heart surgeries, 12 trips to the cath lab and now am diagnosed with congestive heart failure, given 6 months to live. I have already outlived all the doctors' guesses of my passing. . .it will happen soon enough. Nice talking with you, Joyce, keep well. Linda

Yeah, I can imagine going through all of that and having to face life head on. There is nothing we can do, so we might as well find moments to enjoy.
