Sank,
Here I am! I thought I was all caught up on your posts -- so sorry! I am always quite amazed by the travel adventures you and your wife have enjoyed -- and a wee bit jealous, too. Oh, my, I would love to have done HALF as much!!!
Btw, there are several places in this post with random periods in the middle of sentences --??
Other than that - I enjoyed! Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up on the periods I wonder if it is a FS thing will check. Hope some rewards were left.; Getting ready to do a rant about American Summer and the disappearance of reviewers. I am gonna propose that Tom extends the time of promotions during your Summer.

I enjoyed your adventurous write and all the places you visited as you explored Australia and the surrounding islands, a joy to read, I have been to a few of those places myself, but not to central Australia because it is too hot there! Love Dolly x

I always enjoy reading your story and this is no exception.
These days, with new regulations and security, .we would have to be at the Airport THREE hours before departure. (not sure why that stray period is there, but sure it shouldn't be.)

I wish you could have gone into more detail about the trips, but I understand you don't want to steal your wife's thunder. I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's stroke. I hope it wasn't fatal.

No not fatal she lived till 2005 as u will remember she suffered bad dementia for several years before the Lord took her home. U may do Louise's stuff again, but probably not in here. Talk more, elsewhere.

One thought--you might give more detail about some of your stops. Your travels sound interesting, so you might want to elaborate on them a bit. Travel by train sounds appealing to me. You might give more detail her. The theme parks are always interesting, and readers are probably curious about the deaths that occurred there. Airplane travel has become so much worse. Two hours ahead should be sufficient time, but now there's so much security. An interesting topic. judi

Thanks Judi as I explained back when this was first written, Louise also had her "Our Trips" Book on FS. I am pretty sure most of my regulars knew all the trouble we had with two paid accounts on here. Will write some more later now hers is not around.
-
You're very welcome. Trips always make for a great story. judi

I hope now thatr I have Louise's account up again you will check out her stories on our trips if you had not done so already. I am trying to do reviews on her account to get the funny money up to make it worth while for people to read the stories. Cost em a fortiune in AUS dollars to get the account up for another year. Tootsie55 in case you missed the name of the account.
-
You're welcome. You certainly have to pay out good money to join the site. I'll probably indulge for another year. judi

You may not have traveled much when you were single, but it sounds like you made up for lost time. Travel erases prejudice.

Thanks Thomas I don't think we knew each opther back when my wife's book was on FS. I do plan on adding more now hers is not on FS. Long story about some very unfair treatment we had with two paid accounts on here.
-
Hey did you see Tootsie55 account is open again trying to do reviews over there to build up some funny money. Cost me a lot in Aus$ to get the account up for an other year over there.

911 pretty much ended freedom of traveling. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. Note: edit your work carefully.
Error
we got back to work. (remove period) in the old days...

A very well-written chapter. My late husband no 2 had the opportunity to travel before he gets married the first time and I have boxes of photos that he had taken. Unfortunately, I did not travel alone, and we did not get a chance to travel overseas together.

Well Sis n9o travel overseas as I said for me except locally and the island state in the South, hehe. Might eventually re-do my wife's travel book she did on here a long time ago. We had a lot of trouble on here even though we paid for 2 accounts so hers is gone now.
Comment from Sasha
This is a nice soothing chapter. I don't mind that it was shorter than others, you still covered a lot of territory. I love that you respect Louis's wishes and not duplicate her writing. That say a lot about your relationship. Nice work with this one. I enjoyed it very much.

Thanks Sasha, I may eventually do a re-write of the other stuff acknowledging her original work as I did help her a lot with editing and photos and stuff. I am not sure if you were around in 'them' days when we had a lot of trouble with 2 PAID accounts on FS.

Yes, I remember the problem you had.

You did some trips over the years Geoff, we have trod a lot of rage same trails as you, I remember a trip we had to Tamworth, the kids in our group competed in golden guitar music contest, run by Ted Egan on the "big rig" we performed in the local AOG church, and Glen Innis AOG that year, and subsequent years, well done, blessings, Roy

Thanks mate I know you were around when we had the 2 accounts on here and are aware of all the trouble we had. I may re do Louise's "Our Trip Book": She wrote and I edited and added pictures to, giving her the credit of course. But it may be some place else as I might be gone by then.

Well done Geoff
