These little green frogs welcome the rain for their mating season as their tadpoles need the water to breathe with their gills.
Time to croak when it's time to rain. Find a mate and if not successful - go into the pond to cool off. Smiles.
great write and well penned a frog's weather prediction skills.
Cheerio, hugs, Ritchie. :))

    Thanks for a generous review.
    I appreciate it.
We did actually get rain about twelve hours later but unfortunately not enough. Just a couple of weak storm cells passing by.
    Nature is amazing.

yes, nature has a way of controlling births in nature unlike for man. There is a need to control their population and rain water is the deciding factor - for the frogs, the plants and the animals that drink in the desert to survive.

Very interesting information about those little green frogs done in an expressive 5-7-5 format. We must both have had frogs on our minds this week.

Thanks so much for a generous review.
We have not had rain for quite some time now and the green tree frogs started to croak. Usually a good sign that rain is heading our way.

My son would like this one:D Nicely penned 5-7-5, great word choices which give me visual, and hearing of the frogs themselves.
Thanks for sharing it my friend.

Loved this reminds me I should add something to my book about the frogs up at Grawin all 2 dozen of them I reckon in dad's 14 water tanks. No town water in that place.
Thanks for some lovely lines. Frogs are cute but a damn nuisance. We won't talk about the Cane Toads in Queensland ok Poisonous I think.

I'm talking about the green tree frogs that often end up on the window panes at night.

I sure hope rain is on the way. After a long winter things are rather dry here. We can sure use some rain :) Thank you for sharing these well written words.

    I hope so too.
I'm from Australia and it's getting quite dry here too.
The frogs were croaking last night so I guess we'll see how accurate the frog forecasters are.lol.
