We could supply gas masks while looking at other options. I have been monitoring this as much as I can on television. Thank you for using these few syllables to say so much.

Thank you for this review, and if you are watching the news you can see it's getting worse by the minute. Your first sentence is spot on!

child
dies breathing evil air - anyone
care?

I care!! I care a lot and wish we would or could do something about it. It's very sad that this happens. Sigh.

It is a very sad situation, and it could be on our doorstep any no one seems to see that. Thank you for the review.

The current situation in Syria is, indeed, a dire one. The usage of these types of chemical weaponry is barbaric and beyond most of our won comprehensions...

Nice way to get the point across!

Thank you for the review and observation. Apparently, not many feel as we do.

A poem that consists of little words but conveys a big meaning. it's sad to know that a lot of countries are spending billions on chemical weapons and neglecting their citizens. A world od injustice. Sigh.

My friend, you are on a winner with this entry, so fresh in everyone's mind, and with the possibility of a third word war looming, yes we care, but we the people have no say, this could have happened in our own back yard from any radical home grown, well done, great entry , good luck, blessings, sueellen

Exactly, Sueellen, we are becoming so isolated and yet together. This could happen any where. Thank you for the review.

Evil air......what a horrid reality to deal with....oh bow our heads and pray ...what you have done in 11'syllables is astounding......is your house decorated minimalistically?
God bless

Your write is perfectly counted and holds some umph. Thanks for the notes, although asking for a very low score was odd. The loss of the children is so very sad-- the truly innocent caught in the middle of grownup's crap and paying the ultimate price. Does anyone care, indeed.

Thank you, for the great review. The reason for "asking for the low score" was I didn't want to get into a political discussion, as this is my opinion. I would rather, is some didn't like the message they spoke through their ratings.

Wasn't clear on that, but gotcha. Good luck!

This is a one - nine - one that deals with the very real killings going on in Syria that no one, including the UN, will intercede in.

Exactly, my point. I don't want to go to war, but we have to do something.

I wish I had a six for your politics, it is a disgrace how anybody involved in this killing of children can sleep at night.
Thank you for highlight it in such a sad but brilliant way.

Well done and good luck in the competition. Mary

I know, we've become a society of isolation. The sad thing is this could all be on our "doorsteps" in the near future. Thank you so much for "getting" the essence of my poem.
