Like the best nonsense, this grew from a simple piece of fun and goodness knows what that lingo was meant to be - perfect Cajun according to one reviewer!

Now doan git excited and think this a joke
My Mom had a book she said survived a great fire.
I located the book in the attics side nook
And tried a strange recipe called inge ickit.
It was finger lickin good
So come for a visit
And tell me if it is like your mammy's.
