What a very well written piece. I thought the rhyme structure flowed very well. The language use was strong...interesting...and variegated.

And this WILL happen, and they'll grow old all alone, miserable curs with not even a jar of hearts, as those stolen ones return to their owners as they find REAL love with someone worthy of their affection.

This was very deep. I can't say I experienced this online but in life generally. So eye opening and truthful. The sad thing about being a human with a heart is that all yearn to be loved....

This is a great poem, Have not encounter a sick person from this site. Thank GOD. it's pretty crazy to think, on a poetry site. Good to be aware and be cautious though.

Ah yes, the predator. I can say I've encountered a few of those in my time here mate and its not long before you can see through the fascade. I think perhaps it takes longer for women to be unfooled than men in the same situation is because women want so hard to believe it, they tend to ignore all the warning signs. Well, your poem is eloquently scathing and I admire your pluck! We live and learn JC. This was perfect in its execution of "I know who the FUCK and WHAT the FUCK you are now...and I'm walking away!".
Can't say I disagree with a single word of this and I'm sure many relate, including me. Thankyou for sharing your hurt and humiliation but for inspiring others not to take the same road. There are WAY too many sleeze bags out there with just the right pitched verse to knock us for six.
I must go read your other one. I'm thinking about writing something similar. This is most deserving of a sixer for your tenacity of character and deft skill with the virtual pen. I'm on your page girlie. Start a club. LOL

Women 'mostly' want a 'happy ever after'. An escape from whatever pens them in. Men however 'mostly' want a quick fix to a sexual occurrence. Not all men tho' I hasten to add. There are some lovely one's on here also. Thanks for a cracking review girlie. Jaq xx

Geez I don't know Jaq...you might be being kind a hard on the guy...I would imagine flocks of woman...would be hard to contend with...I mean trust me when I tell you...just one pissed off woman can cripple a man....-smile- Okay...seriously....I never was on the computer till I joined...this is where I learned how to type...-wink- But...I have heard some horror stories...but...I've heard and know of many more...happy endings. yea yea..."one of the good guy's"....you, ..you mean...one of the thick black rimmed glasses, bright white pocket protected, cow licked goofusess.....K...lol....ya know, I been thinkin' about this flock thing...and I find it amazing that the only hot meal I seem to get these days...is when one the "flock" writes a poem about somthin' they've whipped up the night before....-headscratch- Anyway food for thought...lmbo- love you-

What a great description of a predator. I recognized this guy from the first couple of lines. I am myself a spiritual "seeker" and cannot count how many of these bozos exist in faith communities. I humbly add that if I had been smarter and more discerning I wouldn't have been reeled in. The 6 stars initially was for the boldness of your description. But also--it's written really, really well!
