That picture is fantastic of the big dog. Nature is so creative.
An enjoyable free verse that tells an interesting tale
of Ole Blue. This one seemed like a fun write. Smiles

I love the Paul Bunyan stories and this is a nice addition. Always wondered if he had a dog and if not why? Adding in the ice caves to prove the story was true was a real nice touch. Love folk tales!

Innovatively eloquent, fantastically comparatively creative for Paul and Babe, exalted the fantasy tale, an edge endowed, saviour flash summoned, free flow of thoughts, candid funda images, icy visuals, I enjoyed the read.

Thank you Alcreator for the review and comments. My chilly dog just floated there for the imagination to behold.

The story is touching and goes right along with Paul Bunyan and Blue Ox. The dog adds definitely. I love your picture, I guess that was an ice cap in the center instead of an animal. You can tell, the picture caught my eye too.

The only lumberjack stories I know revolve around pancakes. Good author notes. Creative narrative poem. It could be far-fetched but believable. Nicely done. Great!

That is a GREAT picture. It does indeed look like a blue dog. It accents your tall tale of a poem well.
One tip for this line: "Swiming in that big Lake" - no need to use a capital L on "lake".
Thanks for sharing this cheery poem!
Blessings!
