To Jaq Cee,
A world of truth and incite into the coming years or eons to pass.
A cry of despair from us is like a mouse caught in a trap. Our words are nil to the government or men in high places.
I liked your alliteration of: beautiful blossoms bloom

Comment from Bill Schott
This poem delivers a sad but true message of continued ecological destruction that will eventually lead to the death of the world.

Thanks Bill, I'm hoping people do a 360 turnabout but where money is involved I seriously doubt it. Jaq xx
Comment from Spike the second
Oh wow Jaq
Now you have got me started. Corporate con-men and fat cats arrghh! The morals of sin. If I was ever to be in a position of fat cat I would use my wealth to save rain forest or land from the a-holes like these. I get frightended everytime I read a piece of forest the size of Wales disappears, all in the name of logging. If we are supposed to be a paperless age then lets make it paper less unless that paper is recycled. It just makes sense.
Brilliant, six stars my eco friend.
Blessings

So you have middle of the night musings too huh? !! I seem to have way too many. Great poem, good flow and content. However, I am not so sure man has caused the weather changes, weather has always changed and will continue to change...remember the ice age?

Such a beautiful written poem reflecting mother Earth and how we are neglecting her and destroying natures habitate for corperate gains. Australia reached the highest ever in 20o10 destroying over millions of species, some of whikch no one ever new we had, and the numbats which I often speak about are going down the same path, A person from this site said they lived in that region for 30 years and never saw one, and starting to think they may be nearly all gone they said in 2010 that in the next 10 years t6here will be no more and all the other species of them died when we first colognised Australia theyy arraticated them, all until only a small pocket existed on the west coast of W.A in the southern region.
great poem,. well presented gave me no choice but grant you a 6 :)
Regards
Tia

Many thanks for a great review and rating Tia. It's so sad the way the world is going. Let's hope we can all take a lesson soon and preserve what we have left. :) Jaq xx

Aaaaww, mo chara! I've had a weird day today. I saw your poem waiting for me, and now I come to edit it - very late in the day, I admit - I see you've already posted it. Sorry.
I'm sure it will attract a lot of favourable attention.

Hi Jaq! (I thought that was how you spelt it, if not, 'Jac?'
Beautiful work! Great personification of Mother Nature and loved tha description at the end of mankind wiping the beauty from her face. Indeed we are destroying the earth, slowly but effectively and this is an issue that needs to be explored further:-)

Comment from Maureen's Pen
Hi Jaq
This reads much like the cry of the planet. Powerful message and hopefully one that is heeded. It shares much of the pain and destruction we as a species do to this planet.
Well penned my friend.
Thanks for sharing.
