This is a beautiful presentation but a sad write. As I see it, you don't have to have a sweetheart to make someone happy on valentine day. Find someone who is in you same situation and share something with them that will make them feel important. By making them feel important, you really become important to them. Your friend, Bob

Hi Debbie a good poem for valentines contest. I liked how you wrote for those without a valentine:) Though when I was married for over twenty years I still never even got a card most times:) So I learned it wasn't really an important day.

Nice poem. The flow is just a bit awkward and had to go back and read it a few times. You might want to read it out loud and see if you find some of the verses a little troubling. I like the sentiment. Keep on writing. Be blessed, Jude
