Ver goof poem it reminded me of the BFG. I liked the pattern but the end of the second stanza felt akward. Under tree. I understand it but my mind was thing under the tree or a tree.

A good run of verses here and an interesting story. What an imagination you have for the bizarre Treischel. Wonderful use of the 2/3/4/2 format.

Thank you Gungalo. You know where I got the inspiration for the format from. You.

I love this. They do look like huge spectacles. What a wonderful spectacle! You should read the "slanting tree" where I wrote about the love between 2 trees that slanted within each other. I love the concept of animating inanimate objects but is not a tree a living thing. Well done.

Thank you rod. I have a whole book of animated still poetry. When I get enough of them I publish it.
Say, just curious, do my books show up on my profile to others besides me?

This is certainly a fun piece. The form is different but consistent throughout to give it its' own rhyming flow. The message is clear and after studying your great picture I wonder also which giant left his glasses. An enjoyable fun read.

Actually this nonsense does make a lot of sense.
In nature, there are strange formations especially in the clouds we see everyday.
This big bent glasses is so obvious from this picture.
Maybe it was a natural sign to tell us: "wear your glasses before acknowledging others as good friends. See reality clearer and with a 6/6 vision with these big natural glasses like this pair in the park".
The metaphor is really great and so natural - of course, the glasses are huge too. No excuse anymore if unable to dissect the truth of life from mere fables.
Excellent write and metaphor.
Cheers, Ritch.

Enjoyed this funny poem about the large glasses, but all need to have some nonsense sometimes in the world. The picture you chose also makes it more real. Great job on this one.
