Wow! It is indeed deemed fit to be a winner. The passion and consuming want and desire flows through every single word in the poem. Very passionate with layers left for the reader's imagination to unfold.

I can see why this one was a winner. You have an awesome, continuous flow of words that sound like one long sentence, but without any awkwardness. Your imagination is artistic and playful. Superb! Les

"That sinful sax plays low enough to honeycomb down your white satin gown." Such a fantastic way of opening a really incredible work of literary art! The language was so beautiful, and it was a pleasure to read!

Sharyn - I am out of stars: please receive a virtual six.

You have such a unique style of poetry writing. I just love it -

Congratulations!!! I can see why this poem won the contest. Sexy, hot and sultry. Great presentation with the black and white color scheme. Nice alliteration and great imagery as you combine music into this passionate piece. Best wishes, Janet

WOW! No wonder this won first prize! Well deserved! You have a poet's mind for sure.. what a way with words! Lovvve this part:

I'll play the dark and folded valleys of your body
and take you soaring over white-capped peaks of fire

Hot! Hot! Hot! "Get down and Bogey!" Great artwork choice for this theme. I really liked this: "drifting down, surrounding you with sultry light scent of musk, and husky laughter...." Ambiance is everything, don't you think? Great read!

I love the way you've worked the music into this romantic poem. I too think most things move to the music, and especially love. Nicely done.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Well, what a steamy and provocative poem you have here!
I love the progressively more and more seductive lines, building to crescendo...the rhymes and the held-back lines, wait, not yet...

Well done.

This is an interesting piece. I like the way the music is used as both a person and an entity, capable of expressing very noticeable characteristics. Good job and good luck.
