Hi, Jacqueline!
If I say it's "good", I mean as a poem ... the feelings it expresses are almost too dark to take. Well done, for creating such a deep, emotional piece. (That's not you in the art work, is it? hehehe)

It's a sad poem well bolstered by the picture. It's a cry most of us feel. "Where is the life we have lost in living?" So said T.S. Eliot. We generally cry not for what we have genuinely failed to do but for a lost opportunity. Our lives are rife with them. We weep for a life not fully lived.Mainly we are frightened to do, what we most want to do.We need to listen carefully to the wisdom of our souls.

Comment from Dawn of Tomorrow
Yeah, I understand that lost phrase. Some questions I guess will always remain unanswered. We take wrong forks in the road but in the end we still lived life to the fullest, the fullest that we were capable of living it. Always keep hope in your heart and laughter in your spirit, better times are just around the bend. Loved your expression and your presentation, well done.

"Sitting here I cry
For a life not fully lived
Wondering what went wrong
Anguish pours from my soul"
i've been in that situation and still am for my schizophrenia. but i won't have it, i can't dwell in the past. hope before anguish.
thank you for sharing!
goodluck in the contest!

Comment from Tina McKala
really excellent poem, capturing dark cold feelings so perfectly. So raw and so true,
a life not fully lived // I believe that everyone can relate to it (more or less often)

Your well-written, heart-wrenching poem vividly conveys the mindset of one overwhelmed by regrets over lost opportunities. Very good

Wow..Very dark and thought provoking poem you have here. It's brilliant. I love the "anguish" part. I would be interested to know what makes one believe thier life has not fully been lived. Regardless, the attached picture is aces. Good luck in the contest.

Exquisitely written, powerfully presented example of the Naani style poem. Wow! What impressive artwork. Wow! The verse cries out loudly in despair. That awesome alliteration accentuates the artistic ambiance beyond expectations. Magnificent!

This naani has very deep emotional appeal as I think many of us go through what your poem conveys at one time or another in our life.
