Your haiku is in excellent 5/7/5 form
I really like the sensory appeal to the sense of sound and the idea that the falling leaves sound like rain hitting the ground
good consonant pairing of soft/fall and good alliteration in crisp leaves cascade :-) Brooke

I love the sound of this. This is my favorite time of year too. I love the colors in the photo. You did a great job appealing to the senses. :)

Best wishes.

I enjoyed your poem. It gave a nice visual of a fall day when the seasons change and the leaves begin to fall in the wind. I saw nothing to change here. Good luck. RJ

Oh, this is so beautiful. I can actually hear the clatter of the leaves falling, like autumn rain. The vivid appeal to the senses makes this outstanding. I guess you've gotten your allotment of sixes for the month, but this is still deserving. Just lovely.

This is a terrific use of the format. This is a glorius snapshot and a great depiction of the tip-tapping of the cast-offs.

I love the picture. Falling leaves can take the place of rain. They make a gentle pattering sound on their way down to the ground. I like it better than rain in the fall. The rain can get just too cold. Great work.

Very neat imagery here gathered from your soothing words. Even the choice of words to articulate the sounds are well noted. Mistaking the sound of rain for falling leaves is brilliant. Good luck in the contest.

This haiku has great visual and auditory imagery. I know just the fall sights and sounds you mean, that fool you into thinking it's raining. Good luck to you, Jeanie Mercer
