An interesting poem that bring happiness of the wedding while thinking of a divorce. There seems to be so much divorce these days. The syllable count was well. I believe that in Haiku the beginning lines are not capitalized. Good luck. RJ

I love the picture. I love the poem. It displays many people's idea on the length of forever. They should probable say "I do until I don't" Great work.

Hello. Very cute Haiku. Good choice of words. I'm guessing "Fall" means as in the season correct? I'm surprised how many people here actually marry just for the citizenship. Great job and good luck. Cheers.

Cute, funny and true. Pic goes well with this. Altho it is not a true haiku, the rules don't call for one. Enjoyed your pithy statement.

Interesting take on marriage. Rather cynical to say the least, the last line makes the demise inevitable. Perhaps as an alternative to leave the door open to a successful marriage:
Unless we divorce
Although I guess a marriage that starts out considering it is perhaps destined to fail anyway.
A fun read.
Kind regards
Aaron

Well said. It is so sad in this day and age that so many marriages end in divorce. I guess it's the "ME" generation and nobody puts up with anything anymore. Did anyone think of compromise? Most of the time the pastures are not greener on the other side. I liked your poem.
