Rose, your poem was well penned. I liked how you incorporated the geese, the sounds, the direction reference, all to make an enjoyable 5-7-5 on the migratory flight of large birds.
well done

Thank you for taking the time to read and review my words. I love watching them as they migrate and I am always amazed at the amount of noise they can make.

Very nice, Mystery Author! There is only one poem that comes close to yours, the hibernating bear. I love your choice of words,
"Fall's arrows
geese honk right of way
noisy sky" ......instantly, you put the picture of a noisy flock of geese overhead. Whenever I hear them, I have to stop and look up. "Fall's arrows" is just plain brilliant! You suggest traffic in the sky as "geese honk (the) right of way". I love it!
Good Luck in the contest! I am pleased to offer six stars!

Very nice description of the scene. Without the picture, your words depict the scene well. And, as geese are so noisy, I can certainly hear them as I read your words. Great conclusion! Lovely Haiku!

Beautifully written. Nice flow with exceptional imaginary, color scheme and photo all tying the poem together. This makes your poem "pop" (stand out) even more. I enjoyed reading it and love the rhythm of haiku that your poem has.
