This was a gripping piece that grabbed me at "go" when I read your notes. Then I read your words, and you allow us into your mind, sharing your feelings and thoughts. My heart goes out to you if this is real.
Powerful stuff.

"The Death of the Death of Almost Me."
For Some Reason that
doesn't make or give
a reason nor rhyme,
Life is not nice.
No sugar, no spice.
Incandescence candle
out...
No need to scream,
no need to shout.
A knife to the heart...
not once but twice...
A slash for the jugular
not once but thrice...
A bottle filled with
anti-depressants
sure didn't help...
Working on my ID did I
flip my lid?
White guinea tee shirt
blending white to crimson
red what the hell did I do
lose my head?
Tons of A+ blood pouring
down my neck...
Oh well what the heck...
Clotting factors working
in my favor?
The Grim Reaper of Death
take away my last breath?
Must lay down now but
no suicide note written,
a recent love smitten?
Take me Oh Lord to that
better place.
Suicidal, gruesome corpse...
No pie Ala-mode dessert for me,
silent screaming little man of
what I used to be...
Yes, little man lost command,
command over the body, mind,
heart, and soul,
timely message takes it's toll.

This is heavy, Dark, and it makes me want to weep. Reading your notes almost made me fall to the floor. Such hardship cannot be endured. The one light note BOHL made me smile, as I also have one of those. (The one time I am alone, and I am able to get some work done.)
This was... whew. It makes me feel like I should be praying and offering up condolences.

A profound if stark testament of what you have been through. But now the eternal mourning period is over. Sentiments aside, physical death is ugly and sometimes unbearable but then if nothing else we have life. Don't try to breath life into past memories. Life and the awareness of life is your vital goal. The epic height of your poem is the verse that goes; "Sullen rays of life rinse away as a father's grieving heartache replaces the vast memories of the past."
Take care. -Ekim777

I will be the first to state that I am still learning in my "Suessian- Hemingianish" manner". Keats was a great poet. Browning was an artist. and Whitman was a poetic as prolific a genius will ever be. ... These writers and all writers are embellishing their crafts through their source of mind... Through their source of heart.. and through their source of "SOUL!" As a writer with all three of these {King has two and Gresham has more but utilizes one effectively}. Sources proven by testing myself time after TIME, I am perhaps one of the unfortunate few that are plagued to the point of incessant "INSANITY" to share, feel, and function outward my inward sicknesses. Thanks, Ricky1024. "The Ricketier" "Preaching the Choir" here and every where that I share. God Bless. "As I share my message of pain, hope, love, and as I share my giftual connection with the divine elements all I can say is theses words that the reviewers say... "AMAZING!/Beautiful/you have to get that out there in print/You are the "Guiding Light"/you are "Father Time/Richard the Lion Hearted!" {A bum in DC. that didn't know me for jack quoted that and only my EMPLOYER who was DEAD EVER...CALLED...ME...THAT! And, as C. Lucas states "You are doing what I was doing when I started out here on FanStory...Preaching the choir!"
