Poet,
Your Nonet is extremely well written with strong imagery painted in nine lines of verse.
Your Nonet poem is in proper form with spot on syllable count.
The art work you used is wicked awesome.
Excellent metaphors cap off your Nonet along with great alliteration with the C words.
You also used very good rhymes: heart apart.
I enjoyed your lines:
love advertised as faithful and true
crept up devouring my reason
consuming all my senses
playing my fragile heart
I wish you good luck in the contest.
Would I recommend your Nonet poem to other reviewers?
Yes, I would.
Missy.

Hello,
I think this is a good attempt at the subject but could have been done a little better. Good fortune in this contest and in your ongoing writing endeavors.

Really enjoyed reading this. It wasn't such syrup that it made me role my eyes back in my head. I don't know about you but I'm getting to the point I'm having difficulty with the same ole rhythm and rhyme poems so this is take on wrong love is refreshing to read.

I like the formalistic interpretation I got out of this so I went 5. The poem was meant to be shaped like a heart correct? But an odd shaped heart at that.... one almost molded by a human. And we mold things in our image; misshapen and misfit. The "For now, No" was the best: we all get our hearts broke and we all think love sucks and will never come around to us again. But it does... curse the thing. Well done and write on.

This poem is very well written and well expressed. The message is clear and the nonet style is well done. I like that you matched the broken heart artwork to your poem.

What I most like about your nonet is that your lines end in natural places. So often in a nonet, the words just seem to be chopped up where convenient, simply to fit the syllable count.
I also like the way you personify love as some living creature that has won your trust and then let you down.
Excellent conclusion, building (or descending!) gradually to that emphatic NO!
Best of luck with this, and I hope the glimmer of hope bursts into a warm flame.
Yours
Sally

There are times for all of us when we feel that love no longer exists, and yes it is advertised as always being faithful and true but as we all know that is not always the case. Thanks for sharing.

Well, love definitely exists, but unfortunately so does things like deceit, disloyalty, and a whole bunch of other things that can overshadow love's existences. :)
Nice poem, though.
