Absolutely beautiful! What a wonderful example of how much can be said with a few carefully chosen words.
The picture is lovely, but the words are so eloquent in their own right. Of course, I specially love that last line. What mother wouldn't?

The art work you used is adoreble.
In your senryu you used excellent alliteration with the W & R words.
Your satori line is great.
You used very good metaphor: "resplendent in striking red."
