What a striking presentation! I admired your use of colors and the treasure metaphor in this 5-7-5 form. Thanks for sharing the awe. -Joan

I love the picture. I love the poem. I love poppies. I love the rich hue of their orange color. Your color scheme for this work also enhanced the brilliant orange color. Great work.

Brilliant! A wonderful haiku with superb word choice and uniqut/original phrasing, "Drunken orange,"--great concept; perfect picture to enhance the theme. There's been quite some postings lately on poppies.

That's wonderfully evocative. "Peeping through drunken orange" is a wonderful line. You can imagine a whole field of poppies swaying in the wind, painting the fields with their 'drunken orange'. Very well done, love. Beautifully told in such few words. Love Mike

Red Poppies are my favorit flower. This was a delightful poem., well written for this style of format. "Drunken orange" I love that! This poem reminded me of John McGrae's WW1 poem "In Flanders fields the popies..." (1915)

Nice, how can I not like this beautiful haiku when it's abut my State's flower? This is a wonderfully written 5-7-5 poem and the artwork is almost mesmerizing in its beauty.

I like poppies on lemon muffins. But lately the flower seems to be the talk of the town. Once in a while, it's even in the supermarket. Thank you for the review.
