I love the wiggly little cat. I love the poem. SOmetimes I want to wake up my cats. I know they will be trying to keep me awake when the sun goes down. Great work.

Oh, you have been watching my cat! This was great. It purr-fectly describes the life of a cat. Mine gets very excited when I sake up and join her in the mornings, then goes to bed 20 minutes later.

I liked your haiku. I thing that is exactly what a cats nature is. They decide if you own them. Our cat plays when he wants to be played with. Good luck in the contest

As much as I love your poem, I had to give you a four rating, because the contest clearly calls for a poem with three lines. The first consisting of 3 syllables, the second 5, and the last 3 again. Revise? And post the kitty cat poem separately? Hope this helps!

This is so cute and so very true! Our cat sleeps all day in one of her many beds around the house, takes off right after dinner, and we don't see her again until very early in the morning when we find her asleep again in one of her beds. She has her own cat door, so she sneaks in during the night. Somewhere in between all that sleeping, she is indeed partying somewhere. I really enjoyed your haiku; best of luck to you in the contest. This is so cute and so very true! This is so true and very correct. My cat Gizmo is like this. She sleeps so much and as soon as I go to bed myself, its kitty's playtime.
That does drive me mad, but what can you do?? Cats are the way they are. You just have to love those annoying, yet loveable furballs as they are!

i have two of these lovable, furry creatures that rule me an my heart and when 3 a.m. rolls around they break out the salmon and the hats and the race is on to wake me up... love them.
