Absolutely chilling, Jacob. So, the plot truly does thicken! Gavin and Ian are the same, and Oliver's brother. That's crazy!!
Gotta wonder who the other woman was in the car, maybe Mary? Anyway, we see that Oliver did have a wife who died, albeit after two years of marriage. He cared enough to have a vigil.
Still creepy he wants to get with a girl born at his compound.
Take care,
Rhonda

I'm pleased to read that Max has replied at last, although would question the reporting which should have been purely factual. I think, therefore, 'tragic' rather than 'horrific' (too emotive). Also, if the investigation is ongoing, they wouldn't need to say they believe it to have been a tragic accident (it would be too early to say). That said, an interesting development that the third person killed was Oliver's half-brother. It all gets murkier and murkier. Great, intriguing read! Thank you, Jacob. Debbie
...finished with Mary but couldn't (find) him.
The blood(')s still there on the carpet

This is certainly a strange turn of events. Her brother supposedly killed Oliver's half-brother as he supposedly killed their parents. That seems to make it even more unlikely that her brother did the deed as Ian seemed to have escaped his half-brother's clutches also.

The plot gets thicker and thicker, so Gavin, Oliver's half-brother is Ian who was killed at the same time as Danielle's parents. I do believe either Oliver or Jeremiah killed them. And it probably because they realized that this is a cult. Love the story.

Jacob,
Another stellar chapter of your book. It's coming along nicely. I love how you leave your reader wanting more. Danielle is getting pretty deep. Not sure who Ian is, but it's pretty significant to Danielle.
Well done my friend.

Something really interesting came from Max reply. I didn't really Danielle knew much about Ian. I she must have gotten picture of those her brother killed in order to recognize what he looked like. She probably saw him as a child but would she have remembered.
finished with Mary, but couldn't him. (couldn't find him.)

Whoa! So...supposedly, Harvey murdered Oliver's half brother. If that's the case, why send Danielle into the lion's den? I'm thinking maybe there's a lot more to be said about this. Great job!
