Nice picture. These little ones are tough to do. You did well. I hope you have a good week, and also a very happy Thanksgiving. We are having ham this year. Karen

What a very good poem Lady Yvette, you always were a star in scribal economy, saying a lot in only a few words, it makes one even better in the longer ones, beautifully written my articulate friend, blessings Roy

You have the perfect picture to go with your lovely 5-7-5 poem, Yvette. It's such a calming poem, the word and the bird flying over the desert really make me feel warm and relaxed. Well done, my friend, and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xxx

Effervescent offers two kinds of hope - full of enthusiasm for the future, and just plain bubble and giddy.
I listen to a dayspring rhapsody each morning when I have coffee on my back porch and listen as the critters and the breeze and the nearby ocean sing morn's song:-)
A lovely poem for this contest, and I wish you luck.

Very powerful message within and I think we all at some stage or another in our lives may have felt this loss of confidence and the triumphant feeling on getting that back is amazing. Your choice of words are excellent to convey this. Well done and good luck
Best Wishes

What glorious use of words to capture a moment.
The joy of a true wordsmith is to use uncommon words to illustrate a common theme.
Thank you for sharing this vision of dawn.

Yes. A happy song definitely will inspire hope and longing. I like the words you used here like "Effervescent" and "rhapsody." The satori is right on.
I think this is a winner.
Excellent.

What a wonderful and I think, deliberate placement of words. To say so much, with so little. Very well done, this is a great poem in my opinion. The accompanying photo does the words justice. A rhapsody indeed!
