I am still not divorced. We have been separated for two and one half years. I paid for a divorce, and then all the addresses got changed and they told me I had to serve him, etc. So I have to wait until I can afford to hire someone else. I live in hope! Happy turkey day. Cute poem. Karen

Oh, dear! perhaps you should send him my poem so he can see what freedom feels like!
Turkeys roam free around here. One even nested in our garden.

Yep. Not my situation for sure. However I've had to disillusion a few reviewers who congratulated me on my escape!

The first two lines of this poem flow and connect well. The last line
says it all! I like the message implied in these words. Being divorced many years now there has been freedom experienced for me. The artwork is awesome and compliments this poem.

Of course your wife approves. She's lucky enough to be attached to a true romantic. I can't see her not trusting you. Nor can I see you giving her any reason to. Your poems of love and devotion might be the best I've ever read.

Thanks, Lee. As you know I have not been in this situation which is probably why I forgot about alimony/child support. I think a lot of folks are keeping their heads down - the chaos is only just beginning. Good to see enough spine left among the Republican senators to not comply re Matt Gaetz. Not that Blondie Bondi will be much better..

I struggled for ages to find that last line. Then it occurred to me that what I needed was something to turn the whole serious mood on its head. Glad you liked it.
