I really enjoyed your poem. That is exactly how I feel. You captured all my feelings. I don't understand how he won. People who voted for him are going to be sorry. You don't see Harris say he cheated or an uprising. What does that tell you? Well written and heartfelt poem.

impact Kamala's loss in the election impacted you.
-I think many people had similar feelings; I know I did.
-I like how you ended with Kamala's concession speech,
and how we shouldn't give up. There is a lot of work
still to be done. A very good closing for your poem,
and the second picture you shared is stunning.

Hello Gypsy,
A beautiful poem that expresses the feeling of many.
She was given an almost impossible chore with too little time
to accomplish the task.
But this also will pass, as did many other dark times in the past.
You are not alone, nor are the other millions.

God, I wish I had a six. You have summed up the situation so accurately. As an outsider, I have just one question. How can so many be blinded to such deceit? I just pray, four years of this man's irrational leadership doesn't bring irreparable damage to the second greatest country in the free world. (I'm a very biased Aussie.) I loved the honesty in this.

How can half of our country vote for such toxic and unskilled man? It's a mystery to me too. I'm in shock. You are lucky. Our country is going to suffer for this greedy monster. But we, the half of Americans with common sense, can't give up without a fight. I have a feeling we are going to have a lot of peaceful protests in the next four years.

Another fine poem, Gypsy...and it was like the shock I felt on election day 2016 on steroids, because a use then you can sort of understand why millions were fooled into voting for him; don't agree, but no one was sure about him. This time, they did but still voted for him. That's insane.

Well, I read it without promotion, and I think it's brilliant. Putting aside the fact that I agree with you, using the 7 stages of grief as you did made this more than "writing my thoughts done in order to cope" - it made it the work of a gifted poet.
The entire presentation is exceptional, and that picture of her at the end, hand to her chest as a show of humility and love, made me tear up.
I was in shock and crying all day Wednesday. Yesterday I began writing letters and emails to local politicians reminding them of their constitutional duties. It's time we did more than cry and gripe.
We'll get through the next four years. Believe it.
