I think Danielle is still a little bit in shock about the attack, or maybe Oliver's terrible way of punishing Abraham. People do seem to be very dependent on the house and Oliver. Danielle wants Callum to find out more from Eve.

Jacob,
Another stellar chapter to your book. You have the knack to draw your reader right into the actual scenes like they are sitting next to Danielle. Your other super power is to leave your audience wanting more.
Great job

Oh yes, Max, come on, do your job!:)) Surprisingly, Callum has become very institutionalised there very quickly. Danielle, on the other hand, is trying to keep the momentum up with her search for answers.
Another enjoyable read. Well done, Jacob. Debbie

Seems like Callum is mellowing to the place and the people. He still cares about Danielle of course but he's not so set against them as he was. Hope nothing else happens.

Danielle isn't learning a lot here at this place. I don't how this is place is supported. They haven't mentioned needing money to support the place. It will be a relief if fhey ever get out. I hope her brother didn't commit the murder but I can't imagine who he would be protecting unless it is his sister. He seem to thing she would get answers there, but it hasn't happened.

I am hoping Max will be able to help her. It would be good if Sarah also helps them. I'm curious what has upset Eve. Maybe Callum can figure it out. I really like this story.
