Amen and Amen, dear Nomi!! I am also sick of all the hatred that is espoused by a certain candidate. During his past time in office I have experienced open hostility from strangers because as the head of this country he made it acceptable to be openly racist.

You would think wouldn't you that, after all this time and effort on the part of the great activists who have fought so hard to bring about a better, fairer world, that we might have learned about living in harmony and treating each other as equals? Your impassioned verse on anonymity reflects our divided position and pleads for a greater understanding that we are one species with one purpose to share the earth with love instead of hate and inclusivity instead of oppression. Thank you, Nomi, for sharing your inspiring verse of hope and faith. Take care Debbie

A poem that I totaly agree with on every line and stanza. Discrimination is pure ignorance and an anathema to God. I believe that when some one discriminates they are working off of ego and feelings of insecurity. Well done friend.

I'm not American, but I can't wait for the American election to be over. It seems to have been going on for quite some time now, but there's less than a week to go now. A well written piece, I enjoyed reading it.

This is a very well written poem full of the truth my friend. I bet it makes Jesus sad when He sees His children saying and doing such things. Both sides could improve on that. God should be first! Blessings, Teri

The sad fact about politics is that it turns some people into unprincipled liars and thugs, so intent on winning that the gloves come off and all sorts of dirt come in to play. Shame on them all.

Nomi, what a wonderful piece you have written. I watch the Madison Square rally and the hatred and racism astounded me. This is not the USA I used to know, and believe you me, I know it well. That I'm also half American speaks for itself. Never mind religion, just vote blue please. Please save your country and the rest of us from that lunatic. Ulla xcx

Absolutely. When a person tells and shows you who they really are, you should believe them. This man Trump says what he will do clearly and his apologists insist that is not what he means. Even though those who know him well insist that he is not kidding.

He is a dangerous person.

What a great poem. We could all learn a lesson from God. He loves us unconditionally and accepts us for who we are. He sees only his children and he gives us free will. I don't understand all the hate in this world. I only know it is passed down through the generations and that needs to stop, until it does there will always be hate in the world. I was not taught hate at home and I have raised my children the same way. Keep those poems coming.

Thank you. I mostly these days write only by inspiration. So, I do not post a lot. I truly appreciate your wonderfully kind comments. Your children are blessed to have such a wise and kind mother.

Thank you for writing this. What you said is so true. I am concerned about this country. I watched a rally in Madison Square Garden and I couldn't believe the racism. Your poem is well written well.

I'll be so glad when this election is over. Honestly, I don't think either side cares for the American people. They love the power and the attention but if I lit myself on fire in the middle of D C. no one would see it as more than a photo op. This was a grounding poem. God's love is the only thing we can count on. Gretchen

Thank you Gretchen. I am reminded of Jesus words to Pilate, He told him, this kingdom or government is not mine, if it were you would be serving me. All politicians and future politicians should remember that.

well said and timely message. It is time to end all of this animosity and ethnic hatred being driven by one of the candidates and his MAGA movement, his latest rally at Marvin Square Gardens was a really hate festival.

I agree and it is only because he knows that a sizable number of citizens are so small minded, hateful and greedy. they will allow him to do what he wants as long as they can have apiece of the pie that they don't have to work for or share with somebody that does not look like, live like, or think like them.
