Likely not, but more likely a preview, a trailer, of what may be after mortality ends, and immortality begins because, and tis is a new thought that came to me last night... complex minds make things simple; whereas simple minds make things complex. Well done. I love the picture and Kaleidoscope colors.

You "painted" a beautiful dream story in words and in the picture. Lovely.
I'll tell you a true story, though, about fields of flowers that's good to know. When My daughter was about a year old we were on the highway and there were fields covered with flowers on the side of the the road. I stopped and took her and sat her in the middle of them and took pictures of her. Afterwards I showed them to my father in law and he said I was lucky and never to do that again because there are snakes in there. Well, of course, I never did again, but it's a shame. The girl in your picture is enjoying the beautiful flowers so much, running, carefree through them.
And then there are the realities of life.

A rare dream. I am convinced that God does give us a glimpse of joy, heaven when we need it most. I enjoyed this line the most. "I was surrounded by butterflies and I was smiling. I could feel an angelic presence all around me. Was it heaven?", yes indeed.

I think you do a good job describing the dream. You got in multiple senses to relay to the reader the feel, look, and overall environment of the field of flowers. I think you've captured what the contest asked for.
