you did a good with book too. Gartg had to be a part of it. I guess we will see all of you characters again in book three. The new book you started doesn't feel like it is a part of this series. I've enjoyed this.

No the Empty Chair is just something to fill in the time and give the reader a break before the third book starts. thanks so much for finishing out the story. I hope you will enjoy the third in the series as well.

This is a great ending and hint of more to come. It is good that Jenna and Donatelli have finally really found each other. Garth has more to do and that should help cure his heartbreak.

Thank you so much for sticking with the story and enjoying the ending. I am thrilled with your comments and the stars. I believe that the third in the series will be even better...at least it is in my head. LOL Thanks again!

I loved the tender, romantic scene with Jenna and Matthew. The picture you chose with the sky lit up with fireworks while an embracing couple share an enchanted moment, was perfect.
Length is never an issue when a story is riveting. In this novel, every chapter had movement and action. Several things were happening at the same time, which keeps the reader's imagination stimulated. The ending was also perfect, leaving a small window open for continuation. Brilliant!
I look forward to your next project.

Thank you so much, Lorraine, for always being there to support me and the story. I believe you enjoy it as much as I do. I'm looking forward to number three and hope I can pull it off.

Well, the length wasn't an issue for me. You had lots of threads to tie off and that interrogation needed to happen so the fact, information and leads could happen. I do wonder why Allie doesn't simply come back, if Danni and Eleanor could. Death doesn't have much meaning.

Thanks so much Lance. I figured having two ghosts in the book was enough and the storyline I have figured out for the third book can't have Allie existing anymore. I appreciate the time and comments you put into this chapter. Thank you very much.

Aw, that was a great ending to the story, Carol, and you set it up well for the next book in the series. It's so true what Eleanor was saying. There's always a new begining, but that doesn't mean that you forget. Hugs, Ulla xxx

Just the way I like good stories to end, with reason to carry on, and a hint at what might be coming next. LOL. It's always a pleasure and I can hardly waiting for book three to begin. Thanks for sharing.

Yo are so sweet! I am very proud of how this story turned out and I am looking forward to writing the next one. I lost a lot of followers so I think I'll have to step up the third book somehow. I believe there will be more personal revelations concerning the mai characters.... Thank you so much for always supporting me.
Hope you have a wonderful week.

That was fantastic! I love how you finish it, but don't. You now have us waiting for the next book and Garth chasing William. That was so darned clever. I'm a bit worried though; Eleanor said she has to go back to Charles. Does that mean no more Eleanor? Now that Matthew and Jenna have actually got together, they will be happy now. So, we will be flying off to Rothenburg now?
I have loved this story, the characters, and the amazing ghosts from the first book through now to the coming third one. Very well done, my clever friend. You have ended this one perfectly. Loved it!! Love you, my very clever friend. :)) Sandra xxxx

Thank you so much! I couldn't wait for you to read this. And not to worry because there will be an Eleanor...that's the reason I write them. I love her! The next book will involve a lot of personal life (like the first one) and it will be emotional as well as dramatic. Or so I think. Thank you for all your continued support and for being by my side all the time. I couldn't ask for more.

You are so welcome. I looked this morning for this chapter, and I couldn't find it. And you posted it yesterday when I was fast asleep! I didn't go back looking in my messages because I was expecting it to be close to the top of them. So I waited, and waited, and it was there all the time! DUH, teach me not to check it out properly. 😂🥰🥰

Not a problem and now it is late there and I was so worried that you wouldn't read until tomorrow. Thank you again and sweet dreams. Love you, Carol

When I read your message, I could not have gone to bed without reading it. Yes, I'm off up the wooden hill now. Night night, my friend. xxxx

Congratulations my friend~ Another one is in the books. (Oh, that was a silly pun!)
You've kept the perfect balance of some closure...a budding romance...and
unfinished business.
A very satisfying place to end.
(Cue the fireworks!)
I'll miss Eleanor, but I'm happy she will be back with her spiritual twinkle in November!
Bravo...

As you know I'm long-winded and could have gone on for paragraphs more with each chapter's review! I promise you, I read every single word and appreciate you more each day as a wonderful human and authoress!

Yes, it was tough ending it. Eleanor has made me laugh so much and I really enjoyed her antics. But I will write another one come NOvember - I believe they are having another book contest. And I've been thinking of a few short things to occupy my time for a few weeks. Thank you for enjoying the story and for sticking with me throughout. I appreciate it very much.

This was an excellent end to your book, Carol. It really can be frustrating for investigators having to deal with different jurisdictions, I think it's, sadly, what makes it so easy for criminals to move around so freely and leaving them able to escape prosecution. This was a really exciting read and I loved how you ended it with Jenna and Donatteli. I'm wondering if whether or not this will be the last we see of Eleanor. You could definitely write some short stories about her, perhaps she could help out in other cases as well. An excellent chapter, Carol. I can't wait to read what you write next.

Thank you Jacob for the great review and the stars. I have loved writing this story ing involved with the characters. I believe I will stop for a couple weeks with this series and then write another one with the same characters. I love the ghosts and their antics. Thanks again.
