As I was reading the poem, I thought of the scripture you placed below. We often don't accept God's grace to save us and then complete us, and the spiritual truth that he can carry us. Smooth flow and nicely tuned with the heart strings.

This is beautifully written, Roy, and the message is one that many of us have pondered upon regarding our own lives. Thankfully, I am reminded of Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

Our past can sneak up on us and haunt us sometimes. I simply lay them at Jesus' feet and ask God to leave them in the past. This is a solemn piece, but I would think it is relatable to the majority. Thank you for sharing, Roy.

Love the message in your poem. I know there is a lot I would have done differently in my lifetime if I had only listened ... learned... practiced... ignored... trusted... loved... the list can go on and on.
