As I was reading the poem, I thought of the scripture you placed below. We often don't accept God's grace to save us and then complete us, and the spiritual truth that he can carry us. Smooth flow and nicely tuned with the heart strings.

Hi Roy, this is a delightfully reflective poem. I guess we are all guilty of making bad decisions and regretting them as we get older. I wish you all the best.

"If I could turn back time" I would not have the life I have now, would I be happy? I am happy, would I be rich? I am rich in my own self, I have walked my own path though have always been guided, very well written****kahpot

This is beautifully written, Roy, and the message is one that many of us have pondered upon regarding our own lives. Thankfully, I am reminded of Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
It is a great comfort to know that we were loved before we were born and God knew our hearts even then. Forever blessings to you and yours, Lily

Our past can sneak up on us and haunt us sometimes. I simply lay them at Jesus' feet and ask God to leave them in the past. This is a solemn piece, but I would think it is relatable to the majority. Thank you for sharing, Roy.
God bless,
Steve

Hi Ray, your poem is beautifully penned. I think that we all have some regrets in life, but it is what we do with those regrets is what counts.
Of special note:
I know that all my yesterdays would be quite different now,
if I'd have lived by wisdom's plan, to goodness I had bowed.
(Indeed)
Silky rhyming. A poem of truth. Soulful writing. Well done. Margaret

I think we all have regrets that we walk with through life but we can't allow them to be our constant companion. Life in general - takes a mountain load of strength and maybe trust - loved that final line Roy, a good read. Well written,
Cheers

Two things we are lacking nowadays...strength and trust. People these days are selfish and weak, l wish l knew the answers to it all. Not many are thinking about how to have God in thier lives. Another thought provoking poem.

Love the message in your poem. I know there is a lot I would have done differently in my lifetime if I had only listened ... learned... practiced... ignored... trusted... loved... the list can go on and on. I do have many regrets... albeit I still feel confident in having a few small successes sling the way.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.
