We used to say partay all the time when joking around about going to a party. I saw you grinning. You just love to tease me.. LOL'

That's quite an achievement for Gaye to be teaching dance for 70 years. This is a lovely birthday poem for Gaye, and a nice way for us to learn a bit more about her. I'm sure she enjoyed your poem Debi.

I love the way you write about your mom. I feel I know her, too. I love anyone who danced ballet and taught dancing. That was my focus in life, also, but I became a mom, instead. Your mom sounds like she shares her talents and inspires many others. I loved your poem.

-The opening verses give us background information. I can't
imagine teaching anything for 70 years.
-I think she will have plenty of hobbies to keep her busy.

This poem is very nicely constructed and I have to say, any poem accompanied by Abba Is good by me. History of the subject's dance teacher is complete entails how she succeeded in dancing throughout her life. The story in the poem it's complete and complementary of the teacher.

Thanks so much for your lovely poem for my birthday. I've just returned from visiting some of my family in Auckland City (over hundred miles from were we live) I've got a nice photo of three generations which I;m going to dream up a little poem. Just one thing, I celebrate poetry day with all age groups, usually starting with popping into our local preschool, then our retirement village followed by a get together for participants to read,share or listen to poems. Thanks again for your creating a poem for my birthday I really appreciate it. Love & best wishes NanaGaye PS I didn't have any more six stars so please accept a five star
