I like that you've used - the show must go on - as your final line, because our bird friends do entertain us everyday with their serenades. I woke this morning to kokaburras laughing out the front, coildn't help but smile. A lovelu 3 line poem June. cheers

HI June,
This shows how persistent a robin is. How he/she only cares about the music.
I like the alliteration and consonance in this short poem.
Good luck in the contest
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a great weekend
Joan

Lol. What a dedicated bird. Normally, the robins I hear are loudest at evening and it's like they are making sure that everyone notices - especially the potential love of their life. Great alliteration!

These pumped up, rounded birds always remind me of Christmas, yet we do have robins in Britain all year round. Some of them migrate to the canaries and some stay at home, I enjoyed your fine words as these birds display their colour and and sing their pretty song, stoic birds indeed, love Dolly x x. x

I love to see our little Robin Red Breasts arrive in the spring, hopping around on the grass, looking for worms. And when fall comes and they disappear, I know winter will soon be here.
Smiles, Carol

I like the alliteration of robust round robin. These three lines say a lot about the appearance and personality of the Robin,a resilient bird, singing in the garden throughout the year.

I like the use of a "love bird" for your love poem. The contest says address a loved one. What better way to do so than to serenade. No lute or guitar required, He just sings his little heart out. I think I would have said rain and shine.
I like where this poem takes my mind. Good luck in the contest.

A lovely 3 line poem the contest and I wish you the very best in the contest. I can almost hear that Robin singing in the rain and I enjoyed listening to your poem very much. Patricia.

Delightful birds who stay a home in the cold, I think the cardinals likewise stay at hame in the cold, a beautiful reflection of the wonders of nature and the reflection of the manifold wonders of nature, well done, blessings Roy

Yes let's hear it for that faithful, cheerful little bird 'robust red robin' who takes us through all the seasons of the year, rain or shine 'the show must go on.'
