Thank you for participating in the haiku club eclipse event. Great entry for with a good syllable count and connection between lines. Beautiful presentation and imagery.

Good job,

Hello. I hope you are enjoying a happy day! Your well-written Haiku definitely shadows the photo that is the prompt for this club event. It's a bit spooky, but you did a fine job interpreting it.

I'm not good at interpreting poems that don't come right out and slap me upside the head with their meaning but... I can envision a young woman knowing her life should be more, wishing on the puff of seeds and hoping that the world isn't about to end. Her spirit tells her there has to be more to come.

Hi Joan,
What a great poem and presentation, my dear!
What I see here is a normal day, a woman having fun blowing seeds from a dandelion, a simple joy. And quite suddenly, an asteroid comes barreling out of the sky, a monster from the depths of the universe on a collision course with our beautiful little planet. So many come fairly close in universe closeness, harmless visitors. But what if one hit our earth? Our lives would be abruptly ended... like it never existed. Life snuffed out in a moment.
I like the alliteration, too, in this short poem...
"darkness descends" and "ominous omen"
Nice entry for the "ECLIPSE HAIKU" event in the Haiku Club.
To give it a bit more umph, I'd center the poem, pick a more powerful font, and enlarge the print.
Hugs,
Kimbob
