Ciao mystery poet,

A food for thought poem.

For some life has already been mapped out and we are just playing out the script, others like to believe that we are the ones with our choices to shape our fate.

Who is right?

Either way we should try to live by the Bible , love and respect others ( including animals and our planet)

PS: this is a Triolet and it has a specific format which here is missing. Certain lines need to be repeated etc.

Best of luck!

Even though our destiny may be preordained, an actor has a choice of how they react to each event. We are all going to die, but we have a choice in how we internally and outwardly respond. We can choose not to die in fear or panic but rather accepting and peaceful. It will make a difference when we arrive on the other side. Thank you. I did not have repeating lines like a true Triolet. I posted late without fully reading it.

Nicely done. I thought your poem was very enjoyable to read. The use of "old fashioned" language gives it a classic feel. Like I'm reading a poem from a hundred years ago. I love that and I thought it worked so well. I also liked the message. For me it was about how we navigate life's uncertainties and how our choices shape our future. What a well written poem!

Thank you. I believe the inspiration came from a creative source a hundred years ago as well.

Paths that have been well worn by others feature in your poem here and we have the choice to step in which ever direction we choose as we make history in life, a poignant poem, love Dolly x
