I enjoyed your poem. I like the words: summer night winds dance and sing. This is well written poem. The picture goes well with your words. I love your poems. You're such a good writer.

Wow! Cool poem. I really enjoyed reading this one. It brought back childhood memories. A very good message in the poem as well. I believe we can all relate to this at some point in our life!

It's funny what the pen spawn, not all thoughts are coherent, some thoughts can thrust their noses into one's mind, the mind doesn't necessarily move cohesively, but all the senses can project imagery, spark unexpectedly, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Gypsy Blue Rose, I like this poem. I particularly like the fact that you used the 5 senses in writing it. The last line is so haunting-- "their spirits linger in my heart"-- yet so inspirational. I wish I had a 6 to give.

I know it sounds silly at my age, but I still wish upon the stars and in the novel, I'm writing, right now, my heroine relies on the stars often. You did an excellent job including the senses in this beautiful poem.

A precious memory perhaps, reflected upon here in these stanzas, woven in strands of beautiful, expressive poetic language and bilingual, a poetic tapestry.

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

I really like this one, it is so well written and presented with strong imagery. While I can't relate to feeling the literal presence of loved one who have passed, I can definitely relate to their memories etched in my mind, heart, and even physical objects, like the smell of my mother in her hat, and my grandmother's potpourri flowers, long after they have died.
Well done.
RJ

My mom died when I was 10 years old. There are times when I wish she was still with me. Thank you very much for the exceptional six-star review. May you have a wonderful weekend.

A beautiful, nostalgic memory capturing the childhood delights of summer with all those evocative senses heightened! An absolute pleasure to see, hear, smell, taste and touch:)
