I can see the little girl, in my mind's eye, as she makes the snowman. Your imagery is quite strong in this one, and the tradition of this culture stands strong, with not much rephrasing. A simple and traditional image of culture.

A much more upbeat verse here! The snowman is radiating happiness while winter on the girl's hands is a wonderful way of describing that penetrating seasonal cold. I like the way your font colours seem to represent the snow on the berries on the leaves. Well done, Gypsy! Debbie

I just tracked the package, and this is what it said, "Latest Update
We could not access the delivery location to deliver your package at 10:44 am on August 20, 2024 in PASADENA, CA 91107. We will redeliver on the next delivery day. No action needed." I guess we'll see.

That is weird. I don't have it. UPS is not good delivering packages. They ring once and leave. Maybe he rang when we were not home. Usually, (they have to) they leave a note on the door but other times don't. We didn't get a notice. I will let you know as soon as I get it.

This was so cute. It made me think about the fun of winter snow. We haven't seen snow in years here where I live. If we get three inches my area shuts down for a day or two. But being so close to the ocean and having the gulf stream close by, snow just blows around us not on us. This was a wholesome image. Enjoyed it. Gretchen

This was so cute. It made me think about the fun of winter snow. We haven't seen snow in years here where I live. If we get three inches my area shuts down for a day or two. But being so close to the ocean and having the gulf stream close by, snow just blows around us not on us. This was a wholesome image. Enjoyed it. Gretchen

I've made snowmen in Central Park some years ago with my grandsons, but I think we made a mess of it in general. Beautifully written again dear Gypsy, great post, blessings Roy

Brr. Just thinking of "winter on her hands" makes my hands feel cold. Actually, my hands are always cold so I shock my classmates at tai chi when we have to say thank-you to all our classmates after sparring with them. Lol.
