This is another great addition, Jacob. I wondered if Calum would be waiting when she got home. Nice transition. Now I will have to hit the next chapter to hear her tell Calum what happened.
God bless,
Steve

Her brother seemed to think there was something awful happening at Marsh House when they lived there. Hopefully Danielle isn't walking into a dangerous situation when she goes there, and of course she will go to find out what her brother wants her to know.

I like Danielle's feistiness. It was always important to get her character right and her anger and grievance are spot on. Your story is progressing well. I didn't understand in the first para how the guards felt a lot of sympathy for Danielle but then didn't spend a lot of time with her...
Also please see below. Thank you for sharing your excellent story. Debbie

Sounds like Danielle had a rough visit with her brother at the prison. And it's still not clear why he murdered their parents and a third person.
Great job with the dialogue and descriptions of Danielle's emotional state through her words and actions, holding tight the the safety bar and "lolling" her head on the window;

Another really good chapter, Jacob. You've built up some curiosity about this place they used to live. It sounds a bit like a compound of some sort, and that the parents had chosen to move away to give the kids a chance at a different life and that Harvey resented the move. He killed his parents, perhaps, as a way to get back into their community.
Interesting journey ahead.
Great job,
Rhonda

What an adventure, it's amazing how adoptive parents can be better than natural ones, children should be raised by people who want them, but Danielle's original parents didn't deserve to die, there is obviously a perpetrator ot there that deserves to be dealt with, great post, Jacob, blessings Roy
Typo : I s(w)allow. Only a few short years.

It sounds like Danielle is seriously thinking aboug going to the place where it all took place. I wonder if going there she will find the answer to her questions of why her brother killed her parents.

Okay, how much is Danielle going to reveal to Callum and will she tell him that there's a house with several people who knew the family? Something has me wondering about these people, I don't think they are just normal neighbors or friends. I think there is something more behind it. Guess I wait to see.

I am really curious about Danielle's former house. It's sounds as if it's like a commune or something. Why did her family leave? There must have been a reason. You're doing a good job with this story.
