I think somethings require an imagination as you said in the authors notes. I guess I don't have imagination. I don't see your face anywhere but I'm glad you did it was a cute little pond and I'm sure you have had some good conversations with the man in the moon.

thank you! I'm afraid no conversations with the moon since I was young, but even through the cloudy haze around his mouth, and up the right cheek, and his big, black eyes, I could see a rough version of his face. First, I saw the round O at the bottom, center, that looked like he was blowing smoke.

I like the fantasy feel of your words. As a person who sees faces in quite a few places, I can see a face on the moon and I like how you describe talking to him. Excellent poem about the moon that takes the reader to a place of wonder and delight.

I saw just the moon you would wish in a picture around ten nights or so ago. The face was perfect as is your poem. You should do well in the contest as you bring back sweet childhood memories of talking to the man in the moon.

Oh, I wish I'd had a picture of it. This one looks like he should have a cigarette in his hand. I really do think it looks like he's blowing smoke. :)

hmm, That's a new one on me, and rather sad. I have seen the moon at times when he looks like he's smiling. This one (to me) is definitely an "o." Thanks for reading and for your interesting story.
