The mysterious element is this poem is strong, as is the spiritual element. You have be dreaming as I read. That's hard to do, but the images were there. Great job of writing.

This free verse, Midsummer Moon, captures many of the spiritual and fantastical elements which can be conjured within this magical period where anything is possible.

An excellent poem, with lots of incredibly good poem, I figured that a lot of those names it looked like they might be flowers, although botany is certainly not my strength, although I am in awe of the word power, well done Gail, blessings Roy

Gansach,
What is your first name?, first of all.
I love the absolute magic of your soft, fragrant, sultry poem. You use the senses so adeptly, I felt I was in the midst of this wonderful scene. Though at 66, I don't think I'm as fair as the woman in the poem.
Can I get your book on Amazon kindle?
Best wishes,
And thank you for the wonderful escape!
Cindy

My name is Gail. My book is not available as its publishing contract was the prize in an International Society of Poets Convention competition, so it was a limited printing. I may look into trying to re-issue it in another form, but we'll see. If I can dig through the boxes stored away, I might be able to find some unsold copies. I'm so glad you are enjoying them. I appreciate it so much.

    Gail,
I aspire to be a published writer; first I have to get much more writing done. I honestly love how profound and touching your poems are.
If you find a copy of your work, please let me know.
    Best wishes and blessings,
    Cindy

Gosh, I have a bad habit of pressing save before I've even replied. Anyway, good luck with your writing and I will see if I can find a copy somewhere.

This poem is very beautiful describing the moonlight. I can see that you have a passion for nature in the way you write. I love to view how you see the world when you write such remarkable words. Great writing.
