What a funny mix up. I know there are a few others out there with my same first and last name. I like the way you told this story. The reader is confused right along with you as the explanation unfolds.

Haha...indeed. Ever so glad you enjoyed. Surprised to say I don't know any others with the same first and last name personally yet both my first and last name (I guess friends as well) aren't uncommon.

Thank you for sharing your story, an event from your college experience. How very funny that there happened to be your name, or that of someone named the same at that convention. Cool your friend wanted to immolate you, at least for a moment.
