Gypsy, good picture of a dandelion swaying. I always like your haikus, they are simple, short and sweet. Good ending with "meadow of wishes," I always like the image. dove

I have a sign on my computer desk that says, 'When you see a field of dandelions, you can either see a field of weeds or a field of wishes. I choose to see a field of wishes.' Thank you for sharing this poem of hope. We all need hope.

I remember as a child my brothers and me would make our wishes and then blow the dandelions into the wind. This is a very vivid illustration of a real memory for me. It is well written and presented. Thanks for sharing.

I remember kids blowing on those dandelion seeds. They are so magical except they cause such a headache for the diligent gardener trying to keep the yard free of weeds!

Those flying seeds get everywhere. I still believe in dandelion wishes lol it's fun to watch Atticus picking them.
Thank you very much, big sister.

Comment from Patty Mazzurco
This haiku beautifully captures a serene summer moment. The imagery of a dandelion swaying in the breeze and the meadow full of wishes evokes a sense of gentle nostalgia and tranquility. The juxtaposition of the dandelion's delicate nature with the vastness of the meadow enhances the sense of peace and longing. The structure and rhythm are well-maintained, making it a vivid and evocative piece.
