Hi, dovemarie

That sounds like a very interesting event that they're going to have there for the ascension of Mary

I am a brand new Christian, but I'm trying hard. I can't go to church due to severe disabilities, but I can worship at home and I do.

I have signed up for Bible classes and as soon as the instructor is free from decorating from a fire, they'll begin

I always enjoy Roy Owen's' posts because he includes scripture in many of his posts

Is the event held in every city or just in one city?

I sure see a lot of post like this on fan story. Religious post and before I became a Christian it used to bother me. I used to just skip them. Now I find them educational and interesting and I find yours to be that way also

Good luck at the event. I'm sure it will be a site to see. I'm assuming you can go but maybe it's at the Vatican or something like that and probably be on TV

By the way, did you mean assumption to heaven or ascension to heaven?

Thank you for sharing

Hi Pamusart, I'm glad that now you're a Christian, you are interested in religious posts. Sorry to hear about your disabilites, but it's good you can worship at home and listen to Mass. This poem is "assumption" but it is not an event. it is a feast day that is celebrated in Catholic churches. Thank you for your comments and review. Dove

Your words are beautiful and pay tribute to Mary. "Spirit lifts her up on angels' wings is a wonderful line that creates a beautiful image. Excellent faith based poem.
