Thank you for reminding me I need a new meat thermometer, and a kitchen timer. That dish sounds easy to do and seems very delicious. I will be trying it. I will let you know how it goes. Karen

Even when I prepare a dish a little different than you do, or if I've never heard of a dish, like the pasta and potatoes, your creative conversational style of writing makes the dish sound delicious. I eat a lot of salmon, prepared different ways, but have never had it prepared with soy sauce and brown sugar. Something new to try. I thank both you and Jewish Mommie for this post.

Sounds like another great recipe, John. Unfortunately, I just wish I liked the taste of salmon. It's coincidental you post this one now, because my next posting will have smoked salmon in it.

Tried you last recipe on the pork tenderloin, and it turned out great. The only thing I didn't get quite right is that the coating, which contained a lot of brown sugar, got pretty black while the pork was coming up to the right temperature. Perhaps I needed to cook it slower with less heat from the grill. The pork was still very tasty, though. My wife especially loved the grilled vegetables.

Loved the salmon recipe. Finally, one I can make with no carbs. Although for the marinate, I'd have to use artificial brown sugar. I can't wait to try it. My husband I both love Salmon. Thank you for sharing this with us.

In every recipe cooking scene you write, it's obvious how much you enjoy cooking. Anybody can write a plain recipe but you bring the act of cooking alive.

When are you going to cook something from Spain? Maybe a paella valenciana, tortilla Espanola, or gazpacho andaluz. Add a few tapas and tempranillo wine or sangria. Buen provecho!

At my assisted living facility, we often have salmon on the menu. It must be good for old folks! Now I will appreciate the fish even more after reading your delectable words.

Aw, thank you for sharing this, my friend. I'm enjoying the pork tenderloin recipe you shared in your last post. We've had it twice. It's deliciousoso! I hope I spelled that right. It has become my favorite meal of the 20, that and salmon which I have weekly. This sounds incredible too, and will be tried and modified for my diet of 20. Thanks so much for sharing, Chef John. You're the best!

How thoughtful of you to make this dish and I also love salmon so I may try this someday. Thanks for confirming that store bought pesto is fine. I find that buying the pine nuts is just so expensive - and they often come from Russia and China - no wonder, they're so expensive. Don't we have pine trees here?
Anyway, it's always good to see you posting when you can. You must be so busy with work and caring for those tomatoes!

Sounds delicious. I used to be a very good cook. But now I'm in assisted-living and I have no oven stove or grill. Just microwave. I don't know if I could cook salmon in a microwave I might be able to, but if it was marinated, it might be good.
