Luke had a problem that's for sure. Thank you for sharing this post with us. I can't wait to read more.
Ruth stood next to Luke. "This is what you tried to tell me. An Indian girl lives with you?" (stood beside Luke)
words between them would have to wait, even when His heart beat inside like a base drum. (his)

I've missed this story a lot Stan, it's a darn good story, with Luke in a quandary about two women, one a mail order, two Alyanna, and three a young Anna, a five year old, Ruth knows Luke is in love with her, this is really exciting, well done, blessings Roy
Typo query. Like (a) yoke over the prairie?!?

He seem torn even though he is in love with Aiyani. He cares about Ruth's little girl. For someone who had no woman in his life, now he has got one too many. I'm glad you have time to post again.

Glad you've been busy with blessings, Stan.
Good that you could pick up where you left off. It seems Luke's decisions have become much clearer. He loves Aiyana, but he will offer some protection to Ruth and Anna.
Ayanna held the reins (Aiyana)

Great job. This was so enjoyable. Your writing effortlessly immerses the reader into a journey. The characters emotions and the tension between feels so real. The dynamic between Luke, Ruth, Anna, and Aiyana is particularly real. I'm eager to see how these threads will unravel.
