I'm glad you returned to the church, and as children of God we are supposed to fail so we can return to salvation and for the guidance of living the life destined for us.

This is an endearing story Patricia. I didn't know you had a twin brother. You were a vulnerable girl and someone took advantage of you and you then had to shoulder the responsibility of what happened. Life can be hard and you suffered hardship at a young age. This incident brought you closer to your faith and delivered you on a journey to a good life. I enjoyed your honest words here, you are a good person Patricia, you were deceived in your youth and you found happiness with your husband. Love Dolly x x x

What an amazing story. Your story is witten meaningfully and from the heart. God was indeed at work despite everything, including the tragedy of having to give your child away. God restored you and gave you the joy of your husband and daughters. You were right. He is willing to save everyone, even someone like Saul. Yourlife is a testimony to His love and grace. Best wishes for the contest.

This is a powerful and emotional testimony and story. I admire you for sharing your horrible military experience and reason for your discharge. Was the baby ever adopted?
When I was a church musician, it was my job, during the minister's invitation to Christ, to quietly play Just As I Am, and softly sing the verses.
Your message is clear. God will forgive and accept you as you are. Best wishes in the contest.

Thank you so much for your very kind review. Joann a couple of questions for you. Yes, the son that I gave birth to there was adopted about three weeks after I gave birth to him. I was able to locate him when he was 35 years old because I had medical information that he needed for himself and for any of his children, this medical information had to do with disorders that could happen to someone because of heredity. I hope that answers your questions.

Very heartfelt and sometimes very sad life story, but the outcome of a fulfilling life in Christ is encouraging ti say the least. There are a few typos that can be easily fixed. In your fourth paragraph from the bottom, it should read, "it was at this home I began." The third paragraph from the top should read, "I do not remember how I got back." The third paragraph from the bottom should read, "so I began to think."
This is a very compelling and well written true life story, with a few typos tgat can be easily corrected. I look forward to revisiting it at that time.

That's a powerful testimony. That's some awful stuff you went through. I'm glad you found God and were redeemed from those circumstances. Thanks for sharing this part of your spiritual journey.

AMEN!!! In Sunday School we are studying 1 Peter. As flawed as Peter was Jesus used him to build His church. We God will use each one of us to promote His message. His grace covers us. Good luck with this wonderful contest entry.
