Between these greedy mafia creeps and the ghosts, I'm all in on some serious ghostly hijinx!
Just sayin...
Thank God (literally)Sebastian is there to provide spiritual strength!
One more chapter?
Why not!

Wow...still up and reading on. Not to brag (well, maybe a tiny bit) but you are reminding me of when I use to binge on a James Patterson book... a few times I read a book from start to finish.... I'm beyond thrilled that it is holding your attention. You must be tired.
Love ya

I thought I was tired...
But (in case you haven't heard this a million times)--
You have this awesome way of leaving a tease at the end of each chapter and I COULD NOT stop!

Esther is rather frustrating. She's not tour typical strong women characters and seems to hold back more when things are really critical. It's good that Sebastian is there to take charge and speak for her.

Esther is struggling to leave the woman of the 1800s behind and become a stronger woman, but she does have difficult times. She's growing...bit by bit! Maybe Madeline will give her a little of her backbone. LOL

This another terrific chapter, Carol. You really master the suspense and drama so very well. So now they have been warned, but will they be in time to ward off the hangers? A big hug, Ulla xcx

Thanks so muc Ulla. I just couldn't have a bland treasure hunt. Had to put a few more twists and turns in the story. Glad you enjoyed it.
Have a great day! Smiles, Carol

The drama and action never ceases - what an awful development, for all of them. These greedy and cruel people will show no mercy. Divine intervention is needed!

Yes, battle lines are drawn and its difficult for two mortal women and a handful of ghosts to battle the gangsters. Hopefully someone comes up with an idea. Thans!
Have a great day!

This is another excellent chapter. I don't know how you manage to juggle all these characters around and keep up with them. I would think the ghosts might be able to frighten these men who probably don't believe in ghosts

I think it will be time for a bit of spooky, ghostly interference? A few timely thrown books? I can think of loads of fun things the ghosts could do to scare off the crooks. This is going in a fun direction, Carol and I can't wait to read on. Well done, my friend. (a couple of small errors below) Love and hugs dear one. :)) Sandra xxx
Eleanor (Esther) wailed, "Nooooo!"
"Frankie Saladino, the man who serves in the same position. "Frankie Saladino, the man who serves in... written twice?

Finally got back to making the corrections and I thank you for pointing them out. It's been a crazy weekend. Posted three chapters and a flash then decided I was painting...LOL I've lost my mind.

The worst thing possible, besides the banshees in the ballroom, is having the bad guys on the outside know about the treasure. Well, the bad guys are arriving, and the two living souls are in trouble. I don't know what ghosts would do with a fortune, but they could turn on their charming scare-the-life-out-of-y-living abilities. Very scary fun chapter.

Okay, this chapter deserves a six, so here it is. This story is getting more exciting by the moment. I can't wait to see how you continue the story. Excellent writing. Again, I must say that this is one of your best stories.
