This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that!!
I found this to be delightful and definitely geared toward a child. I've reviewed several poems for this contest. But, yours is far away the best that I've seen so far. Yours would actually appeal to a child because it has those vivid characters of the Daisy and the beetle and the toad. But, some of the other entries were talking as if the audience were adults.
I liked everything about this. I like it so much. I'm giving you six stars.

I usually don't give out six ratings but this one deserves it. I like the style, the narration, the characters and the story line. I also like the traditional verse format it works here. Mine would have been a bit more free versish it it works just fine as is.
