I know this person. She more than envelopes my soul. She has stolen it. Mind you, this is not a romantic coupling in the least. Well, at least not a physical one. Our lives are so parallel. Kindred? Soul mates? Just friends? So confusing.

For three lines, it says a lot. Nice visual and touching. I hope you did well in the contest. This should be a very competitive entry. Thanks for sharing it. Have a wonderful day.

Nice haiku. Instead of the nature image, you had this art image of someone weaving their feelings into a tapestry wrapping around your soul. I like the wavering rhythm, very ethereal and dream like, and I like the image of the tapestry. It's not quite in the five seven five perfectly balanced format, but it captures the gist of it. estory

Good job in "addressing a loved one" with a "I love your" right from the first sentence. And that loved one could be God Himself. After all, He gives us dreams. Best wishes in the contest!

Hi, Iza
This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that!!
At, first when I saw weaving in the first line it made me think about orb spiders. They tear down their webs every night and weave a new one the next morning. They are the only spiders who do this
Now that I've probably made you sick from my spider commentary, let's move on
This is beautiful. What a nice vision of weaving a tapestry ( makes be think about Carol King and her song "Tapestry"). It is beautiful unto itself. A lot of people here play that song when somebody they love dies and cry to it.
I enjoyed reading your poem
Good job. Thank you for sharing.
