What great words of soothing comfort from the Lord. I really liked "all you have to do is be still feel my heart in yours". And any time that we are afraid, all we need to do is to "be still" and know He is God!

I am the same, my father is God. My biological father was not that good at it. Kick me out of the house at 15 years old.

A tender poem of Christ's protective love for mankind or of a human father's care for his cherished children, or both intertwined. I think this is a wonderful way to celebrate Father's Day. Beautiful illustration.
Although my parents separated when I was only a little more than a baby, my mother allowed my father to stay close to me. I spent almost every Sunday with him and my uncles and aunt at his mother's large rambling family home. A girl needs that kind of attachment for healthy development.

Thank you very much, Cheryl. I didn't have a good relationship with my father. The last time I saw him he was afraid of his wife, my stepmother and he was not allowed to be near me. At 15 years old my dad and his wife kicked me out of their home. But I do have some good experiences when I was younger and my mom was alive. My friend, Helen was the first person who told me I was a precious child of God. It makes me cry when I think about it.
