"I am woman, hear me roar in numbers too big to ignore!"

I was cheering when Lorrie stepped in and set those manly men straight!

Uh-uh.

No WAY are the men folk deciding what the women folk should do!

(Okay--I get the demons being scary, but an angry group of women? That's petrifying!)

You realize, of course, that it's bedtime and I'm definitely going to read "just one more" chapter...

(Which is what I told myself two chapters ago!)

Helen noted that I always put strong women in my stories...I guess I let a little of me rub off at times. They have their soft moments but when it's needed....LOOK OUT!

It takes ONE to write ONE! You've slayed dragons in your life...with one arm tied behind your back!

Oh dear, Lorrie is really brave, I don't think I would want to go. Not that I'm a scaredy-cat, you understand, more a worrier. Lol. You really do set the scene, Carol, and it is fabulous, nail-biting stuff! I really love your story. Off to the next chapter. :)) Sandra xxx

I did read these yesterday, but I wasn't feeling well so I waited until this morning to write you back. I am glad to hear you felt the tension in this chapter. I always worry whether what's in my head every truly hits the page. thanks as always.

Loving it and hating to take the time to write a review...but they all count towards your grand finish. I can feel it coming...
The anticipation is building well. Esther

As always your women characters are strong - ghost or not! I'm glad they will stay together. I can't quite fathom what harm one spiritual being can do to another. But I'm glad that Sebastian quoted Psalm 23!

I love that Psalm and it has led me through so many times of darkness. Yes, I do like to portray my women characters as being strong and capable of standing on their own, still knowing that there are times we must lean on others too. Appreciate your thoughts and the review.

Hi, BeginAgain. Carol, right?

I like the glow surrounding
Sebastian

This is so interesting because of the ghosts
In the story

I really like this part about the icy fingers on the spine

" Icy fingers of fear strummed her spine as snippets of the evil spirits nagged in her memory"

It looks like the next chapter is going be pretty exciting

I'm assuming that's when all the actions are going to take place

This is a well written story I enjoyed reading it

Good job. Thank you for sharing.

They seem to be doing the 3 Musketeers motto: One for all and all for one. They are all going into the ballroom to find the picture of the soldier they need, and Sebastian has to hold back the evil spirits until they all escape. It does not sound like a plan made in heaven.

Sorry, Carol....My apologies for not responding to your review and so many others. I've been struggling with life both here on Fanstory and at home...the drama is overwhelming. But I do thank you for taking the time to continue to read and enjoy the story.

Never worry about when you get to writing. I have been struggling with the death of my brilliant grandson and arranging the memorial service etc. I just hope I've made sense when I did review things.

Oh Carol I am so sorry to hear about your grandson. I know how difficult that can be for you and the family. My heart and prayers are with you always. I pray you remain strong and can endure this horrible time.
    Hugs, Carol

Another fine chapter, drawing the readers to the inevitable final battle for their souls, and for the treasure. It's quite dramatic, and there is a sense of something impending - hope it is good and not evil which will triumph.
Wendy.
Edits x2: Sebastian spelling: Still wary of everyone, Esther stood behind Sebastion. When her grandson addressed her, she moved from Sebastion's shadow and faced Billy.

You said five for six minutes.

This is another really good chapter you have penned. You used great descriptive words and very good dialogue between the ones speaking. Looking forward to more! love and blessings, Teri

This is one of the most detailed and well thought out novels that I have ever read. The descriptions are plentiful and clear, and dialogue is realistic and forever moving the story forward. I am really enjoying my time with your ghosts.

I love how you have chosen to have the spirits and mortals work together to solve the mystery. I have faith in your writing that you will bring everybody safely through the ordeal.

Drawing families and friends together as they work on the problem seems like the right thing to do. Unfortunately, in real life, we are losing a lot of that "glue". Thanks so much, April as always.
